Start your Jiu-Jitsu journey with other beginners, all starting at the same time. So everyone’s in the same boat from day one. These classes follow a structured six-week curriculum designed to ensure no one gets left behind.
You’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, learning essential techniques and strategies in a supportive, beginner-only environment. This clear, step-by-step approach gives you the best possible start on your Jiu-Jitsu journey.
📆 Tuesdays, 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Take your learning to the next level with these extra recap classes which will reinforce key techniques you have learned the previous Sunday and ensure you have plenty of time to get to grips with the fundamentals of grappling.
Join our private WhatsApp group chat exclusively for Jiu-Jitsu January members. Ask questions, share progress, and get support from your instructors and fellow students. This supportive network keeps you motivated and connected throughout the course.

No problem! This is why we've added the extra foundation sessions for you to catch up if you miss a course session.
The important part is the commitment to Jiu-Jitsu January. Everyone misses sessions from time to time, so just stay as consistent as life allows and you'll still get all of the benefits!
Train as much as you like! Everyone's journey is different, so don't feel pressure to join every available session.
This course is for adults (16+) but beyond that there are no requirements. We have a great range of people training with us so you'll be sure to find a training partner that matches well with you!
Nothing else is required. We even have free parking. If you choose to train in one of our gi classes then we have a few spare we can lend you and then we recommend you purchase one yourself. If you want to train without the gi then most people will choose to buy no-gi kit at some point down the line as well as a gum shield.
The course is no-gi (without the traditional martial arts kimono). We have done this to lower the barrier to entry so you don't have to buy any kit upfront if you don't want to.
Bring a drink, some indoor shoes/sliders to keep things clean and some workout attire. We recommend tighter fitting closes without zips or big pockets. T-shirt's, leggings and shorts are all great options to get started. Some people wear a gumshield, but it's not required from day one at all.
